My Story

About me:

Hey y’all!!

My name is Morgan, but I LOVE nick names. So call me Momo (hints the blog name) Mooj, Momo-Money, Mo, Jenks, Mo-town, Morganita, Morg, Morgie, etc. I think they’re so fun! I am from Fort Worth, Texas. I grew up near Fort Worth and went to college at Texas Christian University. Go Frogs! I majored in Communication Studies and Secondary Education. 

From 2015-2021, I have lived some of my dreams of being a teacher and living internationally. I started off teaching high school Speech in Texas and I loved it so much!! I then moved to Madrid, España and taught English for a couple years. Living in Spain made me feel alive and inspired! After, I moved to Albania for 3 years and was the drama teacher at an international school. Teaching has definitely been a gift to my life by teaching ME lessons and bringing wonderful connections and experiences to my life. I now work online as a content creator and social media manager and am currently based in good ol’ Texas, with as many trips squeezed in as possible! I love the flexibility to work anywhere I’d like!

Some major joys and hobbies are— embracing my family and besties, knowing people’s stories, travels, pondering/ reflecting on life, being outside, sports, extreme sports, mountains, photography, writing, daydreaming, the beach, dogs, baking, coffee dates and LOLing. A couple of other important facts about me are that I am a Sagittarius and my Myers Briggs letters are INFJ. I love this kind of stuff.

About MakinitwithMomo:

The name MakinitwithMomo came from my alter ego nickname, Momo $$$. I earned this nickname from a skit I performed in college, as a New Yorker dancing janitor! jaja and it stuck with me! The idea of “makin it with” me is like making it through this life with me as I ponder, reflect, photograph, share stories and travel the world.

In my shop, I am selling prints and postcards of some of my favorite shots in my travels through the world. I envision my prints in my own future cafe, in my home and hopefully in your future special spaces! As far as the post cards, I hope you can feel connected to my created snail mail and bring joy to the people you love by sending a postcard. I feel passionate about connecting many passions of mine by bringing together my love for photography, travel, thoughtful mail and prints to cozy up homes.

I hope that my writings, photography and thoughts can inspire you, urge you on to seek adventure and travel and to think beyond yourself. I hope you can live in a state of thankfulness and openness, to seek out purpose and to remember that people matter and that YOU matter.– I feel that these are the things that make life joyful and life-giving!!
